“You are a God who works miracles.” Psalm 77:15 “God, your way is holy. Who is God, great as you, God? You are a God who works miracles. You have made your power known among the nations” Psalm 77:14-15 Watch the pre-campaign campaign for the Zambian Crusade event for the 800,000 inhabitants of the Kanyama region to come and hear the gospel by clicking on the image above or here.
Dear Friend of Our Mission,
What kind of God do you serve?
If your faith is in the God of the Bible and in Jesus Christ, then you know that Jesus continually performed mighty miracles so that the message of salvation would reach the lost. Throughout the Gospels, we see how signs and wonders opened hearts to receive the good news.
Jesus came first to the lost sheep of Israel, but He also came for all nations—including Zambia.
Today, Jesus still desires to reveal the power of His resurrection. That is why more than 150 local churches and pastors in Zambia have united around the theme of our upcoming evangelistic crusade:
“You are a God who works miracles” (Psalm 77:14–15).
With great faith, local church leaders have included this message in the crusade advertisements distributed throughout the Kanyama area by exhorting:
“Bring the sick, the blind, and the oppressed, because Jesus is the God who works miracles.”
We place our trust not in any individual preacher or ministry, but in Jesus Christ alone—the Savior, Healer, and Miracle Worker who still heals, saves, and sets people free today.
Please pray that throughout this mission trip the name of Jesus will be lifted high in every message, every testimony, and every act of ministry. Pray that His presence will be powerfully revealed and that many lives will be transformed, as all glory is given to Him alone.

Thank You for Supporting the Zambian CrusadeI want to sincerely thank everyone who has contributed toward our mission trip to Zambia.By God’s grace, more than €25,000 was been raised nearly six weeks before the main event begins. Your generosity and prayers have made it possible for our local outreach team of nearly 30 people to conduct an extensive pre-campaign throughout the Kanyama region. The team has been distributing thousands of posters and invitations throughout neighborhoods, slum communities, schools, and public gathering places. Wearing campaign vests bearing the message “Kanyama Must Be Saved,” they have been tirelessly inviting people to come and hear the Gospel.
This outreach campaign will continue for approximately three weeks, ensuring that every resident in the area knows where they can encounter the message of Jesus from June 25–28, 2026.

A Bigger Opportunity Than We Expected
Recently, our chief coordinator, Pastor Mark Ronnie, received surprising new information.
We had previously estimated the population of the Kanyama area to be much lower, but it now appears that the surrounding region is home to as many as 800,000 people.
Because of the extensive pre-campaign already underway, we now believe attendance could far exceed our original expectations.
Our goal is to see at least 50,000 people gather each evening at the Chinika Grounds during the three-night crusade. If that happens, more than 150,000 people could hear the Gospel message.
The venue itself can accommodate up to 80,000 people per night, meaning that as many as 240,000 people could potentially be reached over the course of the event.
Please join us in praying that God’s desire expressed in 1 Timothy 2:4—that all people may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth—will be fulfilled in Kanyama during these historic crusade nights
Ministry Beyond the Crusade
Our four-member team from Finland will not only participate in the evening crusade meetings.
Throughout the trip we will also minister in:
• Schools
• Hospitals
• Universities
• Streets and public gathering places
We will share testimonies of God’s work, preach the Gospel, pray for the sick, and minister deliverance in the name of Jesus.
Without Jesus and the faithful prayers of God’s people, nothing of eternal significance can happen. Yet with Christ, all things are possible.
Please pray continually for our team as we serve from June 23 to July 2. Pray for:
• Strength and endurance
• Wisdom and discernment
• Unity and mutual love
• Sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit
In our next friend letter, I will share our daily ministry schedule so that you can pray even more specifically for the challenges and opportunities of each day.
In the photo above, there is one of the pastors gatherings going on in Kanyama region. Our organizer Mark Ronnie is going from fraternity to fraternity to cast vision and encourage church pastors and leaders to join in this massive joint outreach.
Strong Cooperation with Local Churches
One of the greatest reasons for encouragement is the commitment of local pastors and church leaders.
Pastor Mark Ronnie has been meeting regularly with pastors throughout the Kanyama region, inspiring them to participate in this united evangelistic effort. More than 150 pastors and bishops are now involved in the follow-up ministry that will continue long after the crusade ends.
Their role is essential. Lasting spiritual fruit depends on local churches being ready to disciple and care for new believers.
Recently, Pastor Mark Ronnie and I together had an encouraging video call with several key bishops and denominational leaders, including representatives from the Assemblies of God and other church networks throughout Zambia.
One bishop committed to collecting contact information from every new believer in his area and organizing a six-month discipleship program for them. Other leaders pledged to provide follow-up ministry in schools, hospitals, and communities where large numbers of invitations have already been distributed.
The enthusiasm among these church leaders is remarkable. Together we ended our meeting with a powerful time of prayer, asking God for salvation, healing, and spiritual breakthrough throughout the entire region.
During our stay in Zambia, we are also planning at least two discipleship training events and baptism services for new believers. If the number of new converts is especially large, we are prepared to organize additional training and baptism celebrations as needed.
Thank you for your continuous prayers for these pastors and church leaders, that thousands—even tens of thousands—of people may become lifelong followers of Jesus.
Looking Ahead: Bangladesh Mission –
October 2026
In the above photo, right next to me in the middle you’ll find pastor Probir Mondol, right next to him in the right you’ll find pastor Stuart Davids from Uganda, and behind there is pastor Barnoba Gomes. In the far right you’ll find pastor Jonathan Munshi.
We are also excited to announce plans for our third mission trip to Bangladesh, scheduled for October 1–13, 2026.
Recently, I had an excellent video meeting with:
• Pastor Probir Mondol, Chairman of the Assemblies of God in Western Bangladesh
• Pastor Barnoba Gomes, Chairman of the Assemblies of God in Eastern Bangladesh
• Pastor Jonathan Munshi, an experienced organizer of large evangelistic events
Together we began planning a major outreach campaign that could reach 30,000–40,000 people during a three-day evangelistic event. Additional outreach meetings will also be held throughout the country so that as many Bangladeshis as possible can hear the Gospel—many for the very first time.
Bangladesh has a population of approximately 177 million people. Only about 0.3% identify as Christians, while more than 91% are Muslims and most of the remainder are Hindus.
For this reason, we believe God has opened a remarkable door for the Gospel in a nation that remains largely unreached.
To carry out this mission, we need approximately €17,000. We will provide more detailed updates in future newsletters.
Thank you for partnering with us through prayer and financial support as we prepare for this important outreach. Click here to make your donation.
