Before our evangelistic event (Crusade), 60 local churches had prayed and fasted for 54 days for the event. In addition, there were many intercessors in Finland, Brazil and the United States, among others, who had prayed for a spiritual breakthrough in Kasenge. Thank God, who hears all prayers!
Local witches and witch doctors had gathered to curse the Crusade the previous Friday. On Monday, February 24, before the event had even started, one of the witches arrived without our knowledge. He had a container in his hand, the concoction of which contained ingredients intended for cursing. Before the event began, however, he experienced such a strong presence of God in the area that he could not curse the Crusade.
So he got up on stage and asked us to pray for him, because he wants to give his whole life to Jesus. Later, he attended a three-day Bible study for pastors and the power of God filled him so that he fell to the ground. At the same time, he was given a call from God to preach the gospel to the other witches of Kasenge. Jesus defeated all the powers of evil on the central cross of Golgotha. All thanks to Him alone who has power over all the powers of evil.
