Newsletter March No. 1, 2026 “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” Acts 18:9-10
Dear Friend Of Jesus’ Great Commission,
Thank you for standing beside us with your valuable prayers during our mission trip to Bangladesh. Some of you have also supported financially this outreach, which we appreciate tremendously. Each of you has made it possible for us to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ up to 17,000 people, and 1850 of them gave their lives to Jesus. They come mainly from Hindu and Muslim backgrounds.
As I was writing this newsletter, I was still in Bangladesh (on the 8th of March). After the United States attacked Iran, it launched extensive retaliatory measures with missile and drone attacks on the Middle East, through which my return flight was supposed to come to Finland. So I returned from Bangladesh 4 days later than expected on Tuesday the 10th of March after rebooking my flights Your intercession has carried us miraculously through challenging circumstances on the ground.
”One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” Acts 18:9-10. God spoke to me about the same thing when I came to preach the gospel for the second time in Bangladesh. Here Christians are also persecuted and abused.
On this mission trip, I have encountered persecuted Christians who have been beaten and intimidated to leave their own village, as the majority of the population of their village are Muslims and Hindus. When they have not departed despite persecution, the Lord has given them special courage and authority amongst the people in their village to preach the gospel despite opposition. The interpreter of my previous mission trip in October, Pastor Stephen, and his elderly mother were beaten up in their own village after they had been with me preaching the gospel to Muslims and Hindus. When I met both of them, they were full of courage and the power of God, and I saw no trace of fear in them, because they had been deemed worthy to suffer persecution for Christ’s sake! According to 1. Peter 4:14, “If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”
As I arrived in the very same village, suddenly the community leader of that village, an elderly man from Muslim background approached me. He had secretly become a true devoted believer. As I invited to his and pastor Stephen’s village, he invited me to come to preach the gospel in the future at a multi-day event, where we could reach around 1000 people every night with the gospel. In addition, I received another invitation from a media missionary living in the Western Division of Bangladesh, who has extensive networks amongst Christians and capability to organize large crusades of 10,000 to 15,000 people per evening in a large rented field. Please pray that the perfect will of God will take place in every invitation we received.
Now is the time for a spiritual awakening in Bangladesh, because the people have a strong thirst for the living God. God’s Word is for you and me today: “Do not be afraid, for the Lord is always with you, as you go about His cause and proclaim the gospel of His kingdom for salvation to the nations for His glory!”
In this newsletter, we will focus on God’s actions at the Bollovpur Crusade event in Western Bangladesh between the 2nd to 4th o March. We will return to other works of God during the mission trip in our later newsletters.
4000 wanted to hear the gospel on the first night of the Ballavepur Crusade on the March 2nd.
Once again, the Lord heard all the intercession and after difficulties and delays, the first Crusade event in Ballavepur could not start until about 7:15 p.m. instead of the original time of 6 p.m.
An estimated 4,000 people had come, mainly of Hindu background, but also some Christians.
I preached the gospel of faith about the miracles in the Gospel of John and what they reveal to us about the Lordship and Divinity of Jesus in different areas of life. When I asked those who want to give their lives to Jesus at the altar at the end of the speech, more than 500 people responded to the call. They came to the altar with great enthusiasm to receive Jesus as their Savior. Numerous church representatives stayed behind to take down the contact information of the believers after the sinner’s prayer.
We also prayed for the Lord’s healing touch on the all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. Many people raised their hands, as we asked who felt healing power of God and that the pain is gone from the body. Seven people came onto the stage to testify about their Divine healing from pains caused by years of headaches, shoulders, legs, knees and stomach gas. The miraculous Jesus moved again in the midst of us, and all the glory goes to Him alone!

The fire of God descended on the 2nd night of the Crusade of Bollovpur, saving, healing, and delivering people
All glory for tonight’s events goes alone to our Lord Jesus Christ, who saves, heals and delivers from evil spirits. My dear spiritual son, pastor Stuart, the leading pastor of the 600-member Seguku Worship center church in Kampala, Uganda, preached the healing power of the gospel and God to about 5000-6000 people in a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. On the second day of the Crusade, the crowd had increased from the day before. People were really thirsty and hungry for God.
When Pastor Stuart called people to Jesus, about 400 people raised their hands to the Lord, about 300 of whom came in front of the stage to surrender their lives to Christ. After the sinner’s prayer, God’s fire fell powerfully on the altar and touched many of them.
The front of the stage was packed with hundreds of people seeking healing, and the prayer service continued from the stage together with Pastor Stuart, me and two other pastors for more than an hour. Pastor Stuart was filled with God’s fire. He prayed for one of the girls who was under evil spirits, in her early twenties, and cast the evil spirits out. Finally, after her release, the girl confessed with her mouth in Bengali “Tsissu Probhu”, which means Jesus is Lord.
In the photo, a street vendor from Bollovpuri, who has just prayed a sinner’s prayer, rejoices in salvation.
On the way from the meeting place to our accommodation place, we stopped to buy some ice cream. Soon a conversation opened with the owner of the neighboring shop, to whom I was able to share the gospel of Jesus’ saving power. He wanted to accept Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord and soon more than a dozen Bangladeshi men gathered around me to pray the prayer of a sinner. They took Jesus into their lives and we invited them all to join us for the last night of the Crusade on the next day.
